Kirstine began working in private practice before establishing Highett Podiatry in 1997.
With a wealth of over 25 years clinical experience, Kirstine has invested in building her practice to become a successful and advanced podiatry clinic, offering a breadth of trusted experience in all aspects of podiatry.
Kirstine is a very nurturing practitioner and has developed a method of care that is both beneficial and supportive for all her patients. She is committed to ensuring her all her patients and their families are educated through every step of the treatment plan to help them make informed decisions.
Kirstine is known for her honesty and integrity (along with all her staff) when it comes to orthotic prescription. It is her number one prerogative to make sure her orthotic prescriptions are “spot on” and she prides herself on her follow up to ensure each of her patients are very happy with their prescribed orthotics.
Time spent outside the practice, you will find Kirstine enjoying travel, running around her busy daughter, Imogen and spending down time at home with her partner Jason.

Sophie Young - Podiatrist & Director

Sophie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2013 and went on to complete her Masters in Podiatry Practice in 2016. During that time, she worked across both the public and private health sectors before joining Highett Podiatry in 2017.
Sophie has also undertaken training in taping, dry needling, as well as time spent at the Australian Ballet in workshops focused on the lower limb and pre-pointe.
Outside of her podiatry work, you won’t see Sophie sitting down much! In her spare time she will be outdoors, camping, skiing, cycling or traveling the world.

Stephanie Carter - Senior Podiatrist

Stephanie’s wealth of experience in clinical podiatric care along with her professional and caring approach is much appreciated by her patients.
Stephanie has a special interest in sports related foot and ankle injuries. Stephanie, herself has competed at a high level in Netball as both a player and coach in the Victorian Netball League.
Stephanie is passionate about getting the right injury diagnosis and tailoring a treatment plan to get the quickest and the most effective outcome and has an extensive knowledge of orthotic prescription.
Stephanie is also a Clinical Supervisor at LaTrobe University, sharing her vast clinical knowledge with the podiatry students.
When not working, Stephanie is a busy mum of two young daughters.

Jeremy Lynn - Podiatrist

Jeremy has a keen interest in all things Podiatry, particularly the dermatological and biomechanical aspect of it.
Jeremy is fluent in Russian and enjoys spending time with his parents and grandparents. Being an allied health practitioner fluent in a second language, Jeremy is very appreciated in the community where Russian is their first language.
Jeremy has always been passionate about helping his patients achieve their health goals and is trained in a variety of services to help deliver the best possible outcome. With placements completed in Alfred Hospital, Monash Health and Bass Coast Health, Jeremy has developed a keen interest in diabetic foot care.
Jeremy has vast experience and extensive knowledge in fitting running shoes. At Highett Podiatry he is our ‘go to’ when it comes to advice regarding the best shoes for our patients.
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys playing tennis and footy, being a sports trainer for local footy clubs and going on day trips with family & friends.
